Itemize tool on Schedules seems to be failing

HI GUYS,

If this has happened to you , or you know how to solve this issue please help me out.

THE PROBLEM:

Although the Itemise every instance box in the Sorting/Formatting menu is unchecked,

some families are still showing up as individual items while other families are not itemised.

Screenshot attached below.

MORE INFO:

The schedule includes instances from other revit projects.

REVIT VERSION 2016

WHAT DO I WANT ? :

To not itemise every instance.

Thanks for taking the time to help me and others that have this problem. :leicht_lächelndes_Gesicht:

That is because they have different Marks.

Hi @Anonymous

Please try sorting 'by name'Revit will group objects if they are sorted.

@ToanDN, you are quite right, the marks are different, and because of this they appeared itemised.

Drawing from @Viveka_CD reply, I realised that sorting the schedule by Mark was what made each instance appear.

SOLVED ! thanks to you both
