Issues with RCP showing incorrect graphicly

I have issues with RCP showing incorrect graphicly. My project is a 5-story apartment building. I have these different unit types that are modeled as "Group".  I have these groups copied all over my overall building and on different levels. To document my units, I've cropped different views from the overall plan. The issue I’m having is that different unit-type RCPs look different graphically, as you can see attached. They have the same template. The only way that I can make the image on the right look like the one on the left is to cut and paste in place, but when I do that, the group will disappear on the floor plan! Also, when I do this, all my dimensions will get lost. Recently I’ve been having so many issues with these groups with Revit 2023 that I never had before, and I’ve been using this system for 3 years now. Any solution for why this is happening? I'm assuming it's Autodesk's code issues?

Not certain this will resolve the issues you're having...

Generally I recommend using "master" groups that are not placed directly in context in the model of the overall building. This way these groups can also incorporate attached detail groups for basic tags, notes, dimensions. You can also create enlarged plans for each group without worrying about which location in the building it might in or rotation being different. That means create a place "off to the side" that you can store your master unit groups and do your work/documentation based on them there. Then the instances placed elsewhere should update as you revise the masters. The orientation of the masters should all be "arbitrarily" oriented the same way (think "project north").

Mirroring can still create problems (depends on the content included in the mirroring...face based don't mirror well) so a mirrored version(s) of the group(s) is wise, I think...even if its a bit more work to maintain.

I think I solved it; I had this light fixture extend the group all the way down beyond where my actual floor is. I fixed this, and things seem to be working fine. Fingers crossed!
