Issues with Extension "Timber Framing for Autodesk Revit 2014"

I’m using the Extension “Timber Framing for Autodesk Revit 2014”.

https://apps.exchange.autodesk.com/RVT/en/Detail/Index?id=appstore.exchange.autodesk.com:timberframi...

I’ve selected my walls and my roof.  Then when the extension’s dialog opens, the preview window seems to show the truss upside down.

I thought maybe it was just a fluke and let it create the framing members.  After it ran, all the framing members were ABOVE my roof and extended out nearly 700 feet above the roof.  It just doesn't make any sense to me.

Any suggestions?

Yes my coworker had previously used this extension on one of his projects.  Based on his success with it our CADD mgr installed it for all of us to use.

Then when I went to use it, I got the results you saw above.  I asked the coworker about and he wasn't able to get it working again.  We never did resolve it and eventually gave up on trying to use it.
