Issues with downloaded elements/objects

Hi there,

Student Revit user here. I don't know how to modify elements/families/objects that I have downloaded from BIM Object website. My goal is to create a circular bench with a planter in the center and insert a tree/plants. Green Furniture Concepts has an ideal line of curved benches and planters that can go with them. I have downloaded the Convex C curve bench and the Radial Planter, hoping I could use Align or Array tools to put these objects together.

First issue is once the bench family is loaded into my project, there is a surprise addition of an attached table that was not shown on the website. I would like to delete that.

Second issue is when the radial planter is loaded into project, it becomes a square in 2D but is circular in 3D. Initially I thought I would just have to spend the time aligning the bench back around the planter, but I can't do it in 2D or 3D. I have included the link for this profile.

Third issue is all the trees I've loaded from the Plants section of BIM Object website don't have any size description, and they are all much too big for the atrium it needs to fit in. How do I scale a downloaded object down? Overall I have had no luck with finding edit-able objects from the internet and I'm stuck with however they download/render.

Thank you in advance for your time and advice.
