Issues with Dimension visibility through API

I'm placing dimensions between Grids and Edges retrieved through some door's GeometryInstances, however they are not visible at all. I have inspected them with RevitLookup and nothing looks wrong, and dimensions placed the same way to Wall Edges seem to work just fine. No errors are thrown, and IDs are generated for the dimensions. Does anybody know what could cause an issue like this? Is there some difference between Wall Edges and Door Edges?
