Issues with copying elements from linked ifc file

I'm trying to copy the structure of a building from a linked ifc model into our project file.

Now I tab-select every element individualy and copy-paste aligned to same place them one by one. Is there a way to copy the whole category at once?

Another issue I sometimes get is an error message saying "the types already exist but are different, the types from the project into wich you are pasting will be used" then the element just won't paste into the drawing at all.

Open the IFC directly, isolate the categories, group, and save the group to a RVT. Insert that RVT into your model as a group, or link it in and bind.

Hi @wouter.wijnants, did you ever reach a solution to your 'already exist' problem. I'm getting this same issue and annoyingly I cannot locate the duplicate types in either the linked file or the host file. The error warning (attached) seems to list a family or type name but I cant locate any families using this value.
