Issue with View Filters in Revit LT

Hi,
I received a Revit model that has filters applied to the views, but I’m working in Revit LT and realised I can’t remove them.

For example, certain sections not placed on sheets are being hidden, and no matter what I try, the filters still seem to be controlling visibility.

Do you know of any workaround to resolve this?

Thanks!

@christopherE8

Revit LT should give access to view filters...could it be that they are in a view template? setting view template to none should unlock them

Hi,
First and foremost, thanks for your quick reply.

As you know, Revit LT doesn’t support view filters. When I changed the view template to “None,” the view still retained all the previous settings.

I also tried duplicating the view, but unfortunately, that didn’t help either.

Even AI suggested, “Go back to the full version, remove the filters, and save it again.” — cheeky, but probably true! 😊
It seems there’s no real workaround at the moment.

There really should be an option to omit or ignore filters in views when using Revit LT.

Sorry my bad...havent used LT for several years....

How about creating a new view instead of duplicating? you might loose the annotations but you could isolate these & Copy/plaste to the new view

Post the idea on Ideas forum (although I think it might already be there)

Hi,

Thanks so much (again) for your reply.

Creating a new view worked perfectly and resolved the issue — along with a bit of cleanup!

Kind regards,
