Issue with model group not showing in its model category

HI, I have a fire extinguisher that is not visible in the code review view I'm trying to place it in. When I go into visibility graphics within the code review template, I can show all the model categories in view and can see my fire extinguisher, however out of all the model categories there is not one named "fire extinguisher" or anything similar. I've combed through type properties but don't see any clear answer to why the name would change itself inside the visibility graphics. Please Help! Thank you. -Dave

There is no Category called Fire Extinguisher. Do you mean your can't find a Subcategory by the name of "Fire Extinguisher" in VGOs? Use the VGO Search Bar.

Yes that is what I meant. There is nothing named Fire Extinguisher under the the generic model category, yet when I check "generic models" in visibility graphics and go back to plan view, I can see all the models in that category as well as my fire extinguisher. I have read that it may be because it's an element, and I might have to look into setting up rules to hide this element/model. Seems like there should be an easier solution.

*Edit Search bar didn't return anything

Sounds like it's a Nested Family within another Family - a Generic Model Family. If it is Nested, open the fire extinguisher Family, make it Shared and reload it into the Parent Family and then reload the Parent Family into the Project.  It's Category and Subcategories should show up in VGOs.

Yes it is not under Specialty Equipment it is under Generic Models somewhere, possibly nested
