Issue with Materials Library

I have installed and uninstalled Revit 2025.4 on my new laptop.  The materials are not showing in elevations/sections/3D views.  The materials library is installed, and I can see the materials selected in the materials browser under "appearance," but am not seeing them anywhere else?

Have you tried your view settings in the bottom left corner.

• Check Graphics Settings: Ensure that your graphics card driver is up-to-date and that your Windows updates are current. Sometimes, outdated drivers can cause display issues in Revit.
• Reinstall Revit: Uninstall Revit 2025.4, verify that your graphic card driver and Windows updates are current, and then reinstall Revit 2025.4. This has resolved the issue for some users.
  
  

• Reset Visual Settings: In Revit, go to the Visual Settings and reset them to default. This can sometimes resolve display issues.
  

• Check Material Settings: Make sure that the materials are set to "Appearance" rather than "Graphic" in the General Settings.
  

• Reinstall Revit 2024: If you previously had Revit 2024 installed and then uninstalled it, try reinstalling Revit 2024. The materials might have been removed when you uninstalled the previous version.
