Dear all,
I have an issue with Revit. I'm working on two separate files and I want to merge them together, they're pretty complex and binding is taking a looooot of time and is not working.
I tried to copy paste which is what I want to do now, but the problem is that I have a difference between the base points of both projects. I changed the base point and coordinate point of the file I want to copy the model from, but when I paste it in the other file, it moves back to the wrong location.
I'm using Revit 2021.
Any pointers and help is much appreciated ![]()
An idea is to Revit Link Project A to Project B.
Then in tab Manage - Coordinates you can Publish Coordinates from Project B to Project A or Acquire Coordinates from Project A to Project B. Save both.
With this way the two projects have the same coordinates.
Why don't you want to leave them as linked models?

Thank you for the quick reply, I'll try this right now.
It's one building but separated in two files, now the team needs them in one file to continue.
ok. Let me know if that works for you.
