issue: Different size mullions will not join correctly at an intersection

Different size mullions will not join correctly at an intersection. This is happening at the door location in the curtain wall. 

When i go to the mullion to choose to make continuous or break at join it always leaves a piece out. I need the thicker mullions to join, and the thinner mullions to stop at the thicker mullions. I have attached an image.

Please help.

Couple of things, there may be an opportunity to "break" the grid lines where you need them to be continuous by adding an all but except picked possibly. Or the easy 'fix' would be to adjust this in your elevation views with detail drafting.
