I need to convert to 2019 version cos my home's pc cannot open 2020 revit project version , can anyone help to convert 2020 to 2019 ?? THX .
I have 2 rvt files , one is architecture rvt and other one is construction ~
As far as I know unfortunately there is no downgrading in Revit, another person with newer version of Revit can export the files as IFC or DWG for you, but that's not the best solution. I am exporting these files as IFC for you, but the best solution is to upgrade your Revit to the newer version asap.
no backwards compatibility in revit
If people told you this can be done, what is keeping them from telling you how to do it? ![]()

this isn’t Autocad
Revit has never had this ability
lots of threads on this subject
you need to communicate with whoever sent you these files & you need to be on the same version as them
You can use Autodesk online viewer and load those Revit file. There you can view the file. If the project contain sheets, it will display it as well.

ok , but some people told me the 2020 can downgrade rvt files ...
then ask them how they do it maybe they have a magic to convert...
Didn't I hear this before ?
Perhaps in a movie where they have Pierce Brosnan chasing all over Europe for a computer geek guy who knew a loop hole to a giant software that didn't allow users to save down their work ? The movie is very popular with car chasing, hot chicks, drug and gambling, fighting, etc. Ends up with the popular software lost their battle in court, bla bla bla...I love the scene where 007 threw the Russian programer bad guy, who wrote the not-to-save-down part of the software, over a dump trash that has all kind of junk, trash, dog ****, human waste all over his head...and he finally dies of greed at the end...
