Is there another way to change address of revit accelerator other than the built in dialog window?

I work in a very mobile environment.  We got rid of our offices and are entirely remote.  As a result, the address to my revit accelerator needs changing all the time.  Is there a way to start revit using some startup parameters that set the revit accelerator at startup.

I found this link that has a some of them.  I was wondering if there's a way to pass the address of my revit accelerator to revit.exe in the same way.  I was hoping for a way so I don't have to wait for revit to internally error out while looking for a non-existent server.

Set up different Virtual Machines to run Revit in that are configured for each location?

I was hoping there was a way to setup different Revit shortcuts that pass the IP address into revit.exe as a command line parameter.

If I set up different virtual machines, then I need to maintain duplicate Revit installations with the one exception of the IP address for the Revit Accelerator location. For me this won't work well.

Have you read through the accelerator documentation at Autodesk?

Yeah, This is the only method I know of. The problem is that when the previously entered Revit accelerator IP address isn't accessible anymore, it takes Revit a couple minutes to time out in order to display the dialog. I was just hoping there was a faster way. Revit does the same thing when opening the file menu. For some reason it searches all network directories and mapped drives before opening. So when I'm working somewhere that doesn't have those network directories available, like a coffee shop, then Revit takes a minute or two to display the File menu because it has to time out the search for those non-existent network locations. I realize I'm probably an outside use case, but here's hoping some of this stuff gets fixed.

It's been a few years since I've used Revit Server or worked with people that do so my memory is fuzzy. I seem to recall a place where the value is stored but blanking on it. Perhaps someone else who is still using it will chime in.
