I'm working in a BIM360 cloud-based model. The architect wants to have the callout boundary lines as dashed lines, but I want to use callouts boundary lines to create dog-legged callouts (we flatten the boundary shape to it's limit).
I'd like to have solid lines for the boundary so my cut line is solid and not dashed. Can I make a second boundary line style and assign it to my detail callouts so I don't override the line style for the rest of the callout boundaries in the project?

If I am understanding correctly you want the call out bubble to be dashed instead of solid? If so I am leaning towards you having to edit the call out family, and make one that is dashed. Let me know if this helps!
Thanks for your reply, but no, I don't want dashed call out bubble lines.
The line for call out boundaries is what I want to modify. The line style is dashed (per the architect's specs), but I want to make a solid boundary line in the same project (cloud-based shared model). Can that be achieved?
You can override the element, by selecting the call out > under the modify tab in the View panel select override by element. Within the dialog box, you can change the pattern to solid. However, it will need to be done for each individual call out. I am checking to see if there is an overall parameter, that you can duplicate and change.
You mean like the magenta, green and red solid Call-outs I'm showing here?
Thank you very much for the solution! I will put that filter together and expect that or something very close to it will solve the issue.
Thanks for the suggestion, but that only changes the bubble part of the call out, not the boundary line.
Sorry for the misunderstanding, glad someone got a solution!
Happy Drafting!
