I work in an architectural office. From time to time we receive models that have been generated in Solidworks and exported to Revit (or Autocad in the old days). These files, even when not very large, seem to be cumbersome and take a long time to process so, saving a file, changing views, or moving things takes a lot of time. Just wondering if there's a way to fix these imported elements to make them work better in Revit. I don't have Solidworks so, I can't open them there and re-export to Inventor or anything like that. I'm stuck needing to remedy the files I'm given.
If anyone has a good answer, I'd be happy to know it.
