Is there a better way to control Line Style visibility?

This workflow is terrible. Select a drafting line > Check it's name > Open Visibility/Graphics Overrides for Drafting Views > Hunt for the Line Style > Uncheck "visibility" > Click "Apply" > Click "OK"

Is there any way to simply hide the drafting Line Style "on screen" without entering the Visibility/Graphics dialogue box? This workflow is unruly.

Select one line > right click > hide in view > category.

Oh wow, I didn't know they tied the category to the line style. Is that new?

Thanks. But the entire line style, not just one line. Is there a way??

have you tried it?  It will hide all lines under that line style.

Other than creating your own linetype style and using match properties, what you see is what you get in Revit. Personally I do not know of any add-ins or custom tools that address it.

Maybe...Dynamo could make things a little easier, but then you'd have to load the script, click a couple times and it might be more muscle memory to do it the way you're doing it now.

No it is not new.  Line styles are subcategories under Lines category.  Always has been.

Yes sorry I edited my response. Thanks for the heads up. any way to do that for a certain "Type" of filled region? Hide by type?

I basically have an exploded CAD drawing I'm dealing with. Would be great to hide a fill region by type. Arrow heads every where. See attached images.

Oof. Why's the CAD drawing exploded?
