Is it possible to make Door/Windows for Revit using general DCC like Blender/Max

I'm usually use Blender to modeling, but since I trying Revit so I have an idea, is it possible to make library for the door, windows from Blender or other 3D software then export it to revit?

I'm new to revit, so still confuse how its works

I already try it, it is easy to import 3d Box/cube to revit, but how if I want to export object like Door, Windows that have same behavior like we use Door/Windows in default Revit?

if from Blender is difficult, how about sketchup, is it possible?

Yes you can.

It's like you can put a few wood logs under a truck, remove all the
wheels, and roll the logs to move the truck. Maybe just learn to drive a
truck and you may even use it to haul those logs.

Please don't do this to yourself!

I think @ToanDN said it all. It's best to work with 3D content that has been created in Revit. Revit is happier, the geometry works as expected, there are no surprises.

Also - most geometry imported from other programs tends to be 'dumb' geometry which will not schedule correctly. For doors and windows, the best strategy is to take an OOTB family and tweak it to do what you want it to.

@ToanDN and @Sahay_R are right...

Yes, you can still import your 3D into a family and then use that as a model,

But it will create so many problems that it would be simpler to re-model your door on the long run!
