Is it possible to add an additional texture to wood siding in render view?

Perhaps an opaque texture that can show the wood siding similar the image below. I have the siding in the model but no 'wave' pattern shown in the render. I want to add the waves as paint of some sort in the model to show in rendered exterior elevations.sample.jpg

You would need to generate those waves in a post editing tool or render it in a differnet application which handles material mapping slightly better than revit

 

Alternatively, you can also generate the image with the waves for the eintire wall and use that in the appearance settings. Not sure how crips the quality will be considering the image size/dimensions, thats why I think post editing such scenarios is more practicale (personal opinion) many hate post editing and try to avoid it by all means

Yes, I edited the sheet in illustrator. Now I have a file set up for just that sheet.
