I am working in a revit family, but I have found that for some reason there is an invisible boundary in the family, where objects outside of the boundary do not display. Objects become unselectable if there is no part visible within the boundary. The boundary does not translate when loading the family into a project, and all objects become visible. Suggestions? Thanks.

BTW...how are you liking your new location? Was on the building tour a couple of weeks ago.
Ah...never mind. Wrong office of HDR. The folks here in Spokane are Civil.
I don't think so. I tried adding a masking region to see if I could make it not visible, but I couldn't. If there is one in the family I don't know how to select it, because the frame is not visible.
We did move within the building last week, so I thought you were local.
You can post the family on here and some of us can take a look see at what it could be. I'm wondering if it is a nested annotation family that is a masking region.
Attached. I purged all unused families, so there shouldn't be an annotation family in there.
Well at least it was an easy solution. I should have suspected views would have their own view properties. Thanks!
Yep...that is how you can adjust the cut visibility for families by adjusting the view range in the family. To tell you the truth I never noticed that there was a crop region ability in a family. I just noticed the crop buttons were showing in the lower left corner and clicked. Then checked out the view properties and was like Oh...it is there.
