Intersecting lines

Hello,
I am a High School Student new to Revit, and I keep having the error message "Lines cannot intersect each other, the lines currently intersect.", and I have no idea why, the walls seemed to connect to one another just fine, but I keep having several of these errors occurring when I try to make a floor, what am I doing wrong?

Thank you for your time,

-Aaron

Hey @Anonymous

This is the case when creating new Floors, Roofs and ceilings or when you are editing the boundary of those or walls or extrusions or ... almost about everything.

You need to use the Trim/Extend/Split tools in order to clean up the corners where those magenta boundaries meet. Sometimes they are obvious (similar to the image below) and sometimes they are too short to notice...All you gotta do is clean em up and you should be good

Good luck on your Revit adventure 🙂 the interesting part is yet to come
