Internet out - How do I use Revit LT?

Internet went down yesterday, ATT won't be out until later this week to fix it.

In the meantime, how am I supposed to use Revit?

I tried searching, but I'm on a POS Galaxy S7 that can't establish a strong connection (it's configured to use wifi at home because of poor signal strength, which is down) and so every page takes about 5 minutes to load, if it loads at all.

Are you on subscription? You still can use it without an internet connection.

What problem are you having right now?

Hi @GotVic

As the previous post mentions, you are able to use Revit LT without an internet connection (internet would only be used for worksharing or using cloud services) Are you still having trouble or is your issue resolved?

Finally got my internet back a few days ago, and have been trying to catch up on my project(s).

What was happening was that when I tried to open Revit LT, I'd get the splash screen, and then it'd get an error about not being able to connect to the internet to authenticate. I only got one option to click on, and when I did the software would shut back down. Rebooted a couple of times (both trying to get Revit to work and in troubleshooting my 'net connection) with no luck.

I just unplugged from the net, and now Revit is opening fine. I didn't think to copy the prior authentication message verbatim, so I'm not being much of a help for my own problem, unfortunately. Smiley Sad

But now it works with or without being connected. Maybe there was an update since the last time I'd used it? Who knows.

...

And funny coincidence. Just as I was about to post this, my internet went out again. Revit worked fine this time, used it for ~4hrs without a connection until just a few minutes ago when ATT showed up to fix it.
