Intermediate floors don't respond to filter surface overrides

The three intermediate floors are of same type as the top and bottom floors. But they don't respond to filter settings. If I uncheck Visibility under Filters, they also remains visible, while the others respond properly.  Why may this be..?

EDIT:

If I change filter to "Does not equal", instead of "above", then they do respond. So it's something related to elevation. But they are all set to the level where they are seen, with no height offset, so it's no obvious cause there..

I think you are mistaken Level with elevation.  These floors are still belonging to Level 0 despite their elevations.

Use Elevation for Filter.

I thought so too, but as I wrote in EDIT above, it seems in order.

Elevation works, but is cumbersome to set.

Level does not work.

If you have the intermediate Levels and the floors are hosted by them then technically the filter by level should work.  Not sure why your does not.

By the way, why set the filter by Elevation cumbersome?  I found it equally easy.
