I am having a problem with my elevations and sections. Any elevation or section cut that I make is not showing the interior products or families, they are showing the exterior walls only. I edited the view range of my elevations and still my elevation shows the exterior walls. I am trying to edit a cabinet and I cannot edit it because I am only seeing the exterior of the building. I need help finding out why this is not working.
@Anonymous hello, have you try to set the "Detail Level to FINE and Graphic Display Options to shaded or realistic to the elevation/section view. thanks
@ennujozlagam I just tried that and it only changes the exterior view to shaded and fine point. It still is not showing the interior at all.
Thank you.
@Anonymous hello, it could be your family is 2d and not 3d parameters. Or check your visibilty graphics in that view maybe is untick. Dont mind to post your families so we can check. thanks
I suspect perhaps your Elevation View Type is set to apply a View Template when you create it, and that the template is turning off some family categories in VG.
@chrisplyler@ennujozlagam Thank you both for your suggestions. I checked my VG settings and they show my families as being on and visible, so I'm not sure of what it could be. Here is a screen shot. Let me know if you need to see any other views?
Are your equipment/ casework/ furniture families built with either elevation projection or 3D elements? If you switch to an isometric view what do you see?
@Anonymous hello try to edit the family in isometeric/3d view if you can manage to edit? or try to edit the famiy and see if the visibilty setting elevations is check. or i've said before post some part of your file so we can check and narrow the problem. thanks
