Interior Elevation Leader?

I'm wondering if anyone has figured out a way to do interior elevation callouts with a leader for the sheet number as shown in the attached image.  This methodology would be quite helpful in small rooms.

I've read some posts that seem to indicate it might make sense to simply place an elevation callout that has no sheet information.  Subsequently one could possibly place a tag that displays the sheet value for the elevation callout.

I've tried constraining the sheet information to a couple of instance controlled reference lines but this appears to NOT be the answers since I can't seem to control these values through the system family of an elevation callout.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

If the leader is fixed then I don't see a problem for just create a new elevation mark type.

Hi ToanDN

Well, I was hoping for a flexible leader. :). Maybe there is some way the sheet text could just float and I could draw the leader to the view square myself? As usual, thanks for the help!

I think the style of that interior elevation marker occupies more space than needed. If you put the sheet number in the center and the detail numbers outside it should work fine, and you don't need that leader. Also, the interior elevation symbol can go only in enlarged plans, which should give you enough room.

Thank you for your feedback. The classic scenario I'm encountering is
powder rooms and bathrooms that I would like to call out on 1/4" plans.
This symbol, actually can take up less space but perhaps more notably, it
gives greater flexibility to the distribution of this space. The circular
or square nature of the sheet callout in the middle of the symbol is
required to be as large as a 3 digit sheet number. This must not only be
the width but the height. Its inflexible shape makes deploying this
traditional one in the center of small rooms pretty problematic. Because
of door swings and such, the ability to deploy the sheet number to one side
or the other is helpful. I've made a couple different types, as ToanDN had
suggested, and for now I think this is as good as it gets. I can, it is
true, simply draw my plans at a larger scale. But the 1/4" scale is such a
prevalant one here I feel the need to come up with an alternative. I could
also perhaps use a compressed font for the sheet callout in the middle and
reduce the square or circle this way as well but I was resisting the
temptation to introduce new fonts styles.

Thanks again.

Mike

In my standards, the 1/4" floor plans will show callouts for bathrooms. Then, in the  views created by the callouts, at 1/2", I put the multiple interior elevation symbol, which are not visible or necessary in the 1/4" plan.
