Hello,
I am trying to reference another elevation that is already created using the Interior Elevation symbol that is shown below. The D1 is created and the opposite side is the same just Opposite hand. Is there an easy way to click that check box and point it to an elevation already created? Feeling really dumb because I thought I could do this before.
Thank you for the help.
As far as I can tell, the "Reference other view" option is only available when you create a new elevation view, and for elevation views that were already created with that option checked. In other words, if you created an elevation without that option checked, the option is not available for any direction on that tag.
Try making a new elevation view by inserting the tag with the option checked, then you can define each direction to reference whatever other elevation view or drafting view you want. Of course, all four directions for that tag are set to reference other views. I don't see a way to have one elevation tag with a regular view on one side and a referenced view on the other side.
Another time burning Revit glitch. C'mon AutoDesk we are up to version 23 already.
Surely this issue has surfaced before....
Whoopsy - I misspoke. Upon further investigation I found that creating an elevation view referenced to another elevation a drop-down appears and the correct referenced view can be selected.
Then for each of the subsequent views, the same drop-down appears.
Apologies to AutoDesk...on this one.
