Using Revit 2019
I am working on a highly custom project that makes me go between standard project families, generic models and generic masses. Because I am switching so much, I want to float the 'work plane' panel outside of the ribbon. The issue I am having is that the panel disappears when I am switching between the different mediums (ie, edit mass or edit model in place) see images.
Image 1: This is when I first separate the panel, notice I have the modify floating and the work plane. Once I click to edit a mass or model, the modify panel stays but the work plane disappears.
Image 2: This is right after I click the check mark to finish the edit in place. The modify panel is perfectly fine, but I randomly get 4 work plane panels???
I suspect that this is just a bug within Revit because the modify panel works fine no matter what but the other panel doesn't. Does anyone know a possible work around?
