Has anyone run Revit on an Intel ARC B580 12GB GDDR6 DX12 Graphics Card? Is this GPU supported?

We have tested it, it works. BUT

  1. Loading time for models are way longer (3x)
  2. It crashes on rendering or on high quality ray-tracing
  3. Multiple crashes and even hard shutdown are present under normal use.
  4. It is not officially supported.

test rig was

B450 motherboard

32GB ddr4

AMD3700x

Asrock ARC B580 12GB
Gen 4 NVME

get a Geforce RTX 3000/4000 instead

If your running 4K monitor, get a GPU with 12GB at least.

Cheers!

See this: Autodesk Revit Hardware Certification FAQ

There's an old list of certified hardware. The new method, according to the linked page, is to buy a graphics card, install Revit and check the Graphics tab. Something with chicken and egg comes to mind...

Anyway, basically any graphics card can be used with Revit. If you like to use things like Enscape or the like, you might check their page for recommended hardware.
