You can export file as a DXF 2007 file but before the export you should to isolate all similar elements in a single layers, thin after import file DXF 2007 you can replace the materials from manage, object style importedCAD
you cant. the only thing you have just you can add materials on it. Revit see it as a link with a geometrical mesh!
Did you guys ever try to use any XML integration? It is a painfull to model everything again using floors, masses, etc..

It is still not the best workflow I guess. But It is the best we have for now. I'll accept that as a solution.
