Insulation, Core Boundary and connection between floor and wall

Hello

I am trying to replicate a project and so far i have the entire project replicated except for one aspect

There is a specific connection between the wall on the first floor and a Balcony which are not connecting properly?

Can  anyone advise how to get it right

What it should look like:

Notice how the insulation on the floor to the left connects to the wall

What it currently looks like:

I have palyed with the core boundaries and layers in many different configurations, joining , changing join order etc and i cannot get it right

Please let me know if anyone can help :leicht_lächelndes_Gesicht:

This is exactly what I am looking to do, is there an extra step to join it like this? Or will it join automatically depending on the structure make up

No special joining, just attach the wall base to the floors, or lower the wall base to the floor insulation layer and join geometry.  I did need to revise your floor and wall assembly layers.  See your revised file.

Technically though what supports that left hand side masonry leaf? You can't just leave it sitting directly on insulation. Unless it's some sort of super strong compressive insulation I am not aware of.

Thank you very much! This is perfect

Technically yes, however, as this is more a visual project. we are required to make an exact copy of the given drawing for Revit proficiency

I have to agree.  If it was me who detailed it would be like one of these.

For curiosity, how did you do the second image? Where the concret slab runs under the insulation and connects to the other floor?

Overlap them like below, join geometry and switch join order.

Just overlap the 2 floors. Make sure they are the same material and hit join geometry.
