Instance Images in A Symbol

Bare with me here... I am wondering if this is possible: 

I have a typical finish tag/specification symbol.

I want to add an option to it where you can upload an image to the tag (within the project not the family) 

Right now the symbol can turn on the tag of different shapes, or the specifications associated to that finish.

Is it possible to do a visibility parameter for an image within that?

I can turn on all this OR hide all of it and instead only an image shows:

Put the image into a generic annotation family and then nest that into your tag. You can then assign a visibility parameter to the nested family.

FWIW: that method won't work with an Image.  Unless you've figured out how to make the Image Annotative.  If so, please share.

What sort of image?  Can you show an example?

I see the issue, you can control the visibility but you cant control the size of the image. It doesn't scale with everything else in the tag.

It seems like this is a bug.

What Option?  Visibility?  You need to insert and place the Generic Annotation Family (with the Image) in the Tag Family. The Visibility Parameter is an Instance Property of the Family.  You can Associate this Visibility Parameter to Host Family Parameters.
