I have some issues with the Revit installation.. the first time I installed it there was a problem with the default template family destination and also the pograms isnt fully downloading it self the options for structural, architechtural templates were missing on there where only the optios of Open.. and New... also I cant seem to find the content libraries that are missing when im running the program but when running the installer again after trying to uninstall everything it says that they are already installed i've seen some similar posts but the solutions wont help for me since i cant find any content libraries folder in my system}

In the image below says that revit content libraries are installed, this was taken AFTER uninstalling every revit folder and running the uninstaller from control panel and trying to install it all over again

@hernets1

I believe you are using Web install/Install Now directly from Revit 2017 trial website...the following might help you get past the above issues (if if the system and os meet the requirements for Revit 2017)

  •  Make sure you are logged as admin and deisable firewall and antivirus
  • Clear temp folder ... Type %TEMP% in the START > run/search line; and delete everything which is there (ignore any files in use)
  • Download the installation files using Download Manager (dlm) OR directly from the following AutoDSK links  HERE PART 1 and HERE PART 2 (once done; from this point on you wont need internet access...just extract the 2 parts and run the installation locally...)
