Hi!

I am trying to install Revit on a fresh computer with windows 11. Autocad installs fine, but revit setup fails with the "Please exit and restart the install" error.  I have tried the browser download also, but it fails to initialize and just exits. I am at a loss on what to do. I've also installed Archicad and rhino on the same machine without error. DDA file in the ODIS folder throws error "exit code: -113".

Also tried:

- Restarting

- Deleting temp

- Running browser downloaded setup in safe mode (just exits there as well). I found an error file in tempfolder that said: "E r r o r i s : 0 x 8 f f a 0 8 . F a i l e d t o v e r i f y s i g n a t u r e . E x i t i n g a p p l i c a t i o n . " on the

downloaded setup.

Not sure which version of Revit you are installing. Check these articles and see if they help resolved your issues

For some mysterious reason, it worked when installing it on a completely different drive. I have no idea why, and this means that Revit will be running from a slower ssd for me, but at least it worked. Should i report this somewhere?

Check your antivirus settings, maybe ransomware protection locks some folders / drives.
