Insert tin surface from C3D to Revit

Greeting,

I have created a tin surface in C3D and tried to insert it into Revit. I tried both import or insert CAD, neither of them works. I know one workaround is to create a thin 3d solid out of the surface. Hope you can give me other better solutions.

Thank you for sharing. Do you find the surface boundary is larger than its from C3D?
