It seems there is only Attached It app can import pdf to Rv17, but we don't want to deal with Bim360. Anyone knows any other app can do that ? Thx
That is the case for all Pre-2020 Revit versions...
Workaround: Go through Autocad using PDFIMPORT Command(See instructions below)

Thx.
I knew the work around. Also knew Rv18 can directly insert pdf via an app. My question was: is there other app can do the work without Bim360 involvement.
You knew the workaround? Odd...didn't read that in the post. Well, Autocad is an APP ..otherwise Google is a good option too it can find lots of addin and apps that work with Revit ![]()

We have Photoshop.
Try to find an easy way to deal with 50+ pages pdf and more as project growing.
The cad work around costs almost the same labor/time, maybe double in time.
I m asking if anyone knew an app out here like Attch It without Bim360.

You were trying to help.
I thank you for that. But read the question, and perhaps loose the attitude. There are certain things only works in certain way in certain circumstances.
Here is the principle...On an Autodesk User forum, I would not recommend 3rd party apps or addin which the user easily search for on Google or Autodesk app-store. I can recommend something that works and the user is free to take it or not
Anyhow, the post has 85 views maybe there is already someone googling it for you as we speak...

Go to https://smallpdf.com/pdf-to-jpg to convert any multi-page PDF to multiple JPGs in one go. Don't change the JPG names so that when you need to update them, just convert the new PDF to JPGs and save over the old ones, then Reload images in Revit.
If you have Acrobat Pro per @barthbradley suggested or Bluebeam Revu, you have more options such as PNG or TIFF format, and custom quality/color output.
I don't use any Revit add-in for this simple task but good luck finding one.
It appears that the Import PDF in Revit actually rasterizes the (otherwise vector) content of the PDF (converts it to an image). You can of course use AutoCAD 2017 or higher to import the contents of the PDF, then save that as a drawing, which then could be inserted into Revit and exploded which should allow access to the component objects.
If you don't have AutoCAD installed there are low cost conversion tools to make a DWG from the PDF.
