Inner rectangle

Hi,

 

Can anyone tell me what this inner hollow rectangle is in my wall ?Inner wall.JPG

My guess is that is the wall " bounding box", If you draw a regular wall it will fill that bounding box. But if you decide to edit wall's profile, the wall will be displayed with the new profile, but its boundary still exists and is shown when selected

Can we look at the RVT instead of guessing?   

 

...if I had to guess, I'd say it was a Phasing and Phase Filter related.   How'd I do?

Even if you did modify a wall there most be a way to not see that inner hollow rectangle ?

If it's the bounding box that only shows when you select the wall I don't think you can hide it. It won't plot, it is more of there to tell you the bounding box of the wall when you select it. If you want you can copy the problematic wall to a blank Revit project and upload it here. That way we will know exactly what you are talking about
