index schedule by discipline

HI All,

Today it's Index Schedule for the Title Sheet.

What I want to do is to have the schedule sub-catergorized by discipline.  A simple example is that I have A000's, S000's & so forth.  I would like to have one schedule for each discipline.  So Architectural, Structural, Etc. will be it's own index.  Now in properties in the active sheet, under graphics, there is a discipline category, but I cannot find it in my parameters.  First, can I do what I want?  Second, if so, do I need to create a custom shared parameter?

Or is there some other way?

This is actually quite easy, depending on your naming conventions for sheets.

You mentioned you name your sheets "A000, S000 etc" so you could simply create a sheet list with all the relevant fields you want to see, then filter by "Sheet Number - CONTAINS - A" (or begins with A) and this will filter all sheets in the Architectural discipline. Then its just a matter of right-clicking the schedule in the project browser, duplicate, then rename it and change the filter for Structure (Sheet Number - CONTAINS - S" and just repeat this process till you have all your schedules.
