Incorrect Revit printing when Visual Style is in Wireframe mode and Fill Transparency is employed on objects (like walls or column)

I figured that when Revit prints in Wireframe mode, it prints all objects in order of Element ID. That means it prints objects in the order they are drawn. The problem is when you have a perfect view (plan or elevation) in Revit screen, you can't control how they are presented in the pdf. I wish Autodesk can have a hot fix for this because this issue is traced backed to 5-6 versions ago and it seems like nobody cares. I also attached the sample Revit file for you to test it out. Any help/tips to get me the pdf showing exactly like Revit screen would be highly appreciated.

for sure you can view a printed view as u need by control visibility graphics, filter and object style , the best way to print is Hidden lines and control your visibility

Why would you set it to wireframe mode in this type of view?

Thanks for your reply.

We want to be able to get a pdf exactly like what we see on screen and we couldn't. If we use Hidden Line mode, we can't have hatch or fill pattern.

Even this is a small use-case, I still want to see Autodesk acknowledge this is a bug and work on it. This should be an easy fix.

Because this is the only way to get what we want on plan. Here is what we want:

On the framing plan, we want to see the wall above (view range cuts through it) with a crosshatch and the wall below with 50% transparent solid fill and all framing members (beams & joists). Posts above and posts below need to be shown the same way (posts above shown as a square/rectangle with symbolic crossmark while posts below shown as square/rectangle with 50% transparent solid fill).

The only work around we have to do to make this work is to select objects then Cut & Paste in place in order we want them to be printed. Ex: All walls & posts below shall be Cut & Paste in place first then do the same for framings,...But then we have to redo all the tagging. No problem with small structure but for big ones, forget it.

Okay, Autodesk has acknowledged this but no solution yet. I wish Revit allows Element ID to be changed then I can write a script to change IDs in the order I want to be able to print correctly.

I see. As a workaround what you could do maybe is export it to .dwg, link it back in and overlay it without the A-wall layer on maybe but it's a bit of a hassle like that ofcourse...

Well ok, perhaps it was. Maybe try setting the view to hidden line, set show hidden lines to bycategory, override transparency for the level 2 walls in the view not using filter, and fix your columns filter it does nothing for this type of columns. See if that helps.
