Hi all,
So I imported a .dwg file into a Revit view yesterday, but each time I do it, a warning pops up saying that the .dwg file contains raster images which might not display properly.
The problem is that it's right, haha: I'm looking to use the imported .dwg file to compare it to the drawing I made in Revit, but all of the grid labels show up on the .dwg import as big, black blobs! (...so I guess these must be the "raster images")
Does anyone know how to make Raster images appear properly in a .dwg file imported into a Revit view?
All help is appreciated :)!
Thanks in advance,
UPDATE: Even with the "Current view only" box checked on the import dialogue, the labels still just display as blobs.

Is the image link into CAD as OLE (image paste into CAD without reference to external file) or reference image? Also what is the image file format? I know CAD can accept TIF, GIF & PSD which won't display properly in Revit.
OLE will not show up in Revit unfortunately. So you can directly import those image into Revit or you link image into CAD and then link CAD into Revit.
Yup if you have 2021, you have that ability.
Revit shows images from AutoCAD link/insert only if inserted with "in current view only" option active, and those image are in format JPG or PNG (TIFF format doesn't display from CAD link in Revit)
