Hello people,
I need to calculate the incident radiation on a tilted south-facing facade, and I am running the analysis with Ecotect. I understand it has been discontinued for a couple of years, but also that its core lives within Revit: so I really hope my question finds an answer!
I compared these results with those I got with manual calculations, using a procedure suggested by technical Italian regulations.
Problem is: the former are about a half of the latter.
However, the regulation is reliable and I double-checked it over and over. I've been using Ecotect for a while now and I doubt I have made mistakes.
So I was guessing: is it possible that Ecotect/Revit uses a different algorithm that the one I used?
Where can I find such information? Is it explained in an Autodesk page??
Thank you so much!
