In Revit 2019; Where can I find the pattern files to use for cutouts? I'm planning to use it to make a floor grate. I mean where on my computer? I searched for the "Revit.pat" file and it didn't find it. So I'm guessing that it moved.
Thanks

You are taking two different things simultaneously. Surface and Cut Patterns (Graphics Tab) vs. Cutouts (Appearance Tab). Which one do you mean?

Thanks. I was in the Material library trying to make a new material that has perforation. I want to use it as a floor grate. See the image attached. I am trying to find the correct path to the Cutout Images.
Thanks again

Go into your Asset browser and search for an Appearance Asset -- something close to what you need, that has an cutout, and assign it to your New Material. Then you can modify all the settings, including cutout , on the Appearance Tab.
@Anonymous: Type "Screen" into Asset Browser search bar. I think you'll find one of those hits close to what you need.
A good starting point:
See where it says cutouts>images? Click on the .jpg and it will take you to all the rest of the cutouts. Take note of the file path, or just use this method again. It's what I do to find different bmp for creating different wood species.
@barthbradley I'm sorry I'm talking out of topic, because you have the same configuration with mine. I'm wondering if you upload your model to Autodesk Viewer, will the cutout pattern be shown there?
