Dear All,
There are quite a lot in-places families in the model and it contains 1 instance. When i tried to edit the in-place family there was nothing inside but if i model a solid extrusion in that environment it appears. Does anyone in the forum has the same issue? any help would be appreciate. Thank you.
They can't be empty. There has got to be something in them. They are probably voids that cut something in the project.
Do this: In 3D View (Zoomed to Fit and Wireframe mode), select one of the In-Place Families in the Project Browser, right-click on it and select "Select all Instances"=>"Visible in View", and then press eyeglasses button on the View Control Bar and choose "Isolate Element". Betcha you see a "ghost". That's your In-Place Family. How'd I guess? Did I do good?
Thank you so much for your reply but...nothing there. Actually I have a test on an empty project and yes the in-place family cannot be empty. But these in-place families like a ghost in my model
it contains nothing.
Dear All,
The revit model (version 2018) contains those in-place families has been added for your reference.
I looked at your file and I'm see exactly what you are seeing --- NOTHING! Arrgh! I'll have to come back to this one after another cup of coffee.
To be continued...
