IN HOW MANY COMPUTERS MAY I INSTALL REVIT STUDENT VERSION?

I HAVE A COMPUTER AT HOME IN WHICH I HAVE REVIT CAD AND 3DMAX INSTALLED, PERFECTLY RUNNING (STUDENT VERSION)

I WANT TO BUY A LAPTOP AND ALSO INSTALL REVIT, CAD AND 3DMAX.

WOULD I BE ABLE TO DO IT WITH THE STUDENT VERSION? (I WANT TO HAVE THE THREE PROGRAMS IN THE SAME TIME, SO I CAN WORK AT HOME AND ALSO WHEN I AM OUT OF TOWN).

I WANT TO KNOW!! I DONT WANT TO BUY THE LAPTOP IF I AM NOT ABLE TO DO THAT AND ALSO I DONT WANT TO EXPERIENCE PROBLEMS WITH THE ACTUAL SOFWARES INSTALLED AT MY HOME PC.

Can I install the product on more than one computer?

For software downloaded by students, faculty members, competitors or team mentors from the Education Community site—in addition to the terms and conditions, and restrictions set forth in the applicable License Agreement— the following restriction also applies:

You shall not install more than one copy of any release version of any Software product obtained on this site on more than one system at a time.

For example, a faculty member has a desktop computer at home and a laptop computer she uses at work. That faculty member cannot install a copy of AutoCAD 2016 on both the desktop and laptop systems simultaneously. She can, however, install AutoCAD 2015 on the desktop system and AutoCAD 2016 on the laptop system simultaneously.

Hello @Anonymous

Students and Educators are no longer eligable for Home USE license...However; educational products are 2 seats (at least Revit and AutoCAD are)...meaning you do not need a Home Use License the first place. (Home Use is intended for single seat products)

I would suggest you review the license conditions of the products you installed...You should have received an email from Education Community in this regard everytime you installed a product...See below

  1. Product: Revit 2016 Educations
  2. Validity: 3 Years
  3. Type: Stand-alone 2 seats (Up to 2 personal devices)

however this doesn't mean you can run them together simultaniously...ie: you cannot log in to use  the same product on more than 1 computer at the same time

In my signature there is a Link to Autodesk EDUCATION COMMUNITY SUPPORT...you can attach the email you received (similar to the above) and send them a query to confirm it

Ok so student versions can be installed in 2 computers. If for whatever reason the student needs to reinstall a third or fourth time, for example computer broke up and is restored to defaults, or student bought a new computer and is giving up on the old one, etc. How is this handled?
