Importing Rfa to rvt issue

Hi,

I have been having this recurring problem of my rfa/family file working perfectly fine but once it is loaded into the project, it does not function like it is supposed to. Attaching a file here please tell me where am I going wrong.

It is a detail item with 3 other detail items nested into the rfa.

What's wrong with it. Loads fine.  Are you actually Loading it into project?

...are you referring to the fact that it doesn't flex properly in the Project?  Well, it doesn't flex in the Family either.  Are you aware of that?

...try this one

Hi, Yes yes I did. I loaded it on two different projects. One in which I
need to use this in...and the other on a new file.

The left right flex arrows weren't working in both of them. I tried it two
ways, one by loading it directly from RFA to rvt. The second, by restarting
Revit opening the/new project and then loading it from the folder, like how
we normally load families.

Hi,

Yes, I saw the file....the file works fine now, Thank you for sorting it out. So I had not set my parameters properly....was that the issue with the flex? Kinda new to the component making part of Revit. Could you explain where was I going wrong?
