Importing / linking a dwg file

Hello

I have a dwg file, when i try to import it or link it i get the " more than 20 miles ..." warning , even though the drawing is drawn and scaled properly (30m by 40m building on 1:100 scale , so it should be fine),am i missing something ?? is there a way to prepare the dwg to be imported to revit ?!

Import the file using center to center. Then, move it.

hi
that doesnt work , ive tried all options there , none of them seems to work too . when i import the dwg file the extents/limits are way too large (when i select the imported dwg , it shows me the border and its way too big and that is the problem) .

I am a bit triggered when you said "the drawing is drawn and scaled properly".  Is it drawn at full scale, e.g. 30 meters measured as 30 meters?  Scales of the viewport, plotting, annotation, etc..  do not matter.

Also, when you thaw, turn on all layers in the CAD file and do a Zoom Extent, do you still see the building at a reasonable size and not a tiny dot on the screen?

As i said in my reply the scale in the drawing is 1:100 and when i do a "zoom extent" in autocad only the drawing appears , but when i do a zoom in revit the building is a dot on the screen

If possible, move the lines in the CAD file close to the zero zero origin.

Did you draw the building at 1:100 scale? Meaning if you measure a 100 meter wall it will report 1 meter? Please do not tell me that is the case.

Did you thaw/ turn on all layers when you Zoom Extent in AutoCAD?

Tried moving the building in autocad to 0,0 then imported it nothing happened
And for the scale issue by toan , sry i drew it with 1:1 the view port is 1:100 so sry , and all layers are on .

Maybe you could post the CAD file if it is not a plan of a deposit area of a national bank I am about to rob.
