Importing IFC from Tekla into Revit

Hi, I am having issue when importing IFC into Revit: the authoring software for the IFC is Tekla and so containing steel structure components. When I import the IFC into Revit, everything shows as bounding boxes. Did anyone experienced the same? Any solution?

I assume it's displaying correct in a IFC viewer?

What do you mean "import", was the IFC opened in Revit or linked.

I suggest to link it not open, with open Revit will try to generate Revit objects and maybe those boxes are void that exist in the IFC.

Hi @TripleM-Dev.net, correct the IFC displays well in IFC viewer, e.g. Naviswork, BIM 360.

The IFC is linked in the Revit file.

Use Open IFC file ,in your revit file you can control everythings , and save the Revit file and import the link of Revit file.

Hi @azad.Nanva thanks for your suggestion, but it did not work. I have opened the IFC, but once the processing was completed, there was not geometry at all converted.

Might be a option to look at the source, see if the owner of the IFC can change the export to IFC in Tekla itself? or Experiment with it?

Ps. Can you share the IFC?
