Hi. I am now linking DWGs with quite a large number of layers from 10+ files for the first time and it may be the common practice. I have done this before but with many less layers overall and I went in individually per layer in object styles and modified them. however, this is not very feasible when we have 50 layers or so per file so I was wondering how I can create a rule set for the layers (they are consistent amongst the practices files) so that "X_DrainageToilet" always gets the same line weight when I import it?
I also found the query for linked cad quite clunky when it comes to hatches (it works decently on the lines) so any tips on that would be much appreciated!
I should have written "line styles", my apologies. Basically as I was trying to get at then we often import 60 layers or so that is (in autocad) controlled with a plot style but when importing into Revit I have to go to object styles to change every single one. I would like to set up a line weight style so that these 60 layers/line styles automatically get transformed to the desired style. Surely that is possible?
