Our office has a 'standard details' Revit file we use to 'insert from file - insert views from file'. This was a Revit 2022 file and now our new projects that need these standard details are in 2024, we upgraded that project to match our new projects coming online. Now even after we've adjusted views and added new ones, when we go to insert views from this standard details model, it says it needs to upgrade the model from even the previous version in 2020, even though it's been upgraded and none of our updates are included, drafting views are the same as the 2020 version and no new drafting views are in the file.

The entire project was upgraded in bim360 so all the files in that project were upgraded. There's no chance the details file wasn't so it's very strange it's trying to pull an old version.
Don't know how BIM360 works - could it be Revit is opening a cached (old) copy?
When you insert view from file you are not pointing to a BIM360 (ACC) model, but a local copy via desktop connector. Clear collaboration cache to make sure you have the updated model locally.
