Importing Civil3D surfaces into Revit

Hi fellas!

Does anyone here have any experience from importing Civil3D surfaces into Revit?
We want to be able to have split surfaces with the possibility to change materials and so on inside Revit.
Some of our initial tests just ended up with one whole solid surface without split lines or triangles etc.

Thanks in advance!

Split Surface?  Are you talking about splitting a Revit Toposurface created from a Civil 3D  import?

Well not exactly, but we want to be able to select different surfaces.
They bicycle path as one surface, the stone patterns as one, wooden surfaces and so on.
Our initial tests just imported everything as one surface, not different ones (even though they are splitted in Civil3D)

I have to see the Civil 3D file to understand what's going on. Can you post it?
