Hello,
Please allow me to preface this by saying that I've very much not mastered the intricacies of Revit...
I created a handful of cylinders with different colors and saved each as a separate family. The colors were added by changing the material. The colors were visible.
I then loaded those families into a working model and started placing them. When I did this, the colors stopped displaying. How can I make the colors to display?
Thanks in advance.

Are the Colors actually coming from a Material that is assigned to the geometry's Material Parameter? Keep in mind that Project Materials rule. If you have a Blue "Default" in your Family and the Project has a Red "Default", then the Geometry that is assigned the Blue "Default" in the Family, will be Red in the Project.
...or is your Geometry's Material set to "By Category". That means it is using the Material assigned to the Family Category in the Project's Object Styles dialog box.
The issue was that I had multiple colors for "default" when I created new materials the problem went away.
Thanks a ton!!!
