As the title says: Can I import view types from another project?
And I mean native in Revit, not through Add-Ins.
Use Manege --> Transfer Project Standards :
another project should be as a link in your project or open in the same Revit.
view template or view type:
I wonder if you mean this?
In Project Browser right click on a drafting view in project browser and Save to new file
(it does work on some other views)
Then in the other project > Insert tab > Insert from File > Insert view from file

I need this for section types. Transfering view templates only transfers view templates (as expected).
The suggestion with save to new file only works for 2D views.
So good suggestions, thanks, but not yet a solution to my issue.
what do you mean ? did you see the view type too, right ? View Type and View Template all can be Transfer from Transfer Project Standard, and nothing difference between Section View or Plan View.
